june hits

naisip ko bigla, ang chuchal naman. may hits and misses pa kong nalalaman! lols. wala eh.. ganon talaga. ; ) nyahaha..

okay. so here are the products i've been loving.

kotex fresh pantiliners longer and wider

i wasn't really particular with the pantiliners i use like i am with napkins. but i do like them individually wrapped. wala din akong preferred the brand. because you know, pantiliners are cheap so feeling ko disposable sya. hehe.. ang nawiwish ko lang madalas, sana mahaba ng konti ang pantiliners. minsan kse it feels uneasy sa umm.. back part. kse i like placing my pantiliners more on the front. so last june when i went grocery shopping, i looked around more sa feminine hygiene section wishing na sana may nag eexist na long pantiliners. and voila! kotex has it and it's not just longer, it's also wider! made me so happy :D

it contains 16 individually wrapped pantiliners. they are divided by four and wrapped in a resealable plastic which i later learned to be purse packs. kotex of course is a more expensive brand compared to charmee, sisters, newtex and.. uh.. anu pa ba? basta yon. this particular kotex costs a hundred plus. kinda steep pero super worth it. hindi sya nadudurog like the other pantiliners. durable talaga.. i'm really really impressed. :D

ang ayoko lang dito.. feeling ko kse it uses too much plastic. the resealable purse pack is a brilliant idea kse maganda nga naman sya for travel.. or to have in your purse just in case you or someone needs it. but over all.. i dunno.. i just feel bad for mother nature. maybe they can just have an actual kotext resealable pack for those who needs them that way and just the regular pack of individually wrapped pantiliners for people like me. better yet, instead of the stretchy plastic that they use to wrap them pantiliners, can't they just use paper? like imitation kraft paper so it's more environmental friendly? just a thought :D

anyway, the kotex longer and wider pantiliners is a brilliant product over all. i'm really impressed and i would recommend it to everyone.

NEXT!

silicone face scrub

i first saw this product in a youtube video and was really intrigued. i have been on the look out for this for quite sometime now. i looked for it sa body shop and they didn't have any.. i even went looking for it sa etude, skin food and face shop thinking they might have it. i just assumed they would kse the girl that uses it is chinese-british so i figured maybe asian brands would have them. but they didn't. i actually found this by accident. nag lalakad-lakad kse ako sa sm marikina waiting for my partner when i came across the giga store. it's in front of watson's so it's easy to spot. i like checking out eco friendly stores so i decided to look around. and there it was.. nested in a woven box made of dried coconut leaves. i just had to get it! :D

giga makes affordable natural based products but they also resell products -repackaged of course with their label. which is i think the case with the silicone face scrub. sophie martin as i later learned also has a silicone face scrub. the only difference is it's pink, it's bigger and a steeper price. 40 pesos sa giga, 120 pesos sa sophie martin. triple diba? i think the size doesn't really matter. same quality, same texture. so it doesn't matter. i guess it just depends on which is more accessible for you.

the scrub is made from silicone. after you put soap on your face, massage the scrub against your skin. it's good for everyday use because it's so soft, it won't scratch your face or leave micolacerations on your skin. the texture is really good. nakakatanggal ng dead skin cells, dirt and all that gunk on your face without damaging your skin. i think it's a good buy especially for those who like putting powder on their faces like a habit. hehe.. no offense.

[ off the topic pero isisingit ko na rin. if your face is super oily, don't keep applying powder like it's your life saver. powder clogs your pores. kung accessible naman ang washroom at hindi naman naka-make up at may oras, why not just wash your face? mas fresh sya sa pakiramdam at sa amoy promise. you can just opt for a mild facial wash so as not to dry your skin. ]

steering back to the topic.. ayon. the silicone facial scrub, i believe, is perfect even if you have sensitive skin. it also has a suction thingy in it's back so you can stick it to the mirror or on the tiles of your bathroom to hang to dry. perfect dabah?! hehe.. so there you go. silicone face scrub is a good buy. you guys should try it. :D

NEEEXT!

pantene nature care shampoo

pantene nature care conditioner

no stunts, no tricks! natural! kaya ba yan ng hair mo? lols. hehe.. i love angelica p. so apart from the promise of nature fusion, it's angelica panganiban's ad that attracted me to trying the product. hehe..

the shampoo is transparent light green, the conditioner is a very light green. the scent is very light and so is the consistency. one thing i like about the shampoo is even if you just use very little amount, it still lathers well. it doesn't weigh my hair down. also the conditioner softens my hair effectively. i like it a lot.

but i stopped using the shampoo already because like i said, i have very thin hair. i'm afraid that even if it's light as it promised, it could still be harsh on my hair so.. i went back to my baby shampoo. lols.

overall, the pantene nature care line is a great buy if you want something lightly scented and textured. : )

this is the end of the first half of the june hits. hehe.. ang dami naman kasi. i still have two more products to review but i'm tired and i have to go somewhere in a while so.. i'll just do the second half tonight ; )

see ya!
